The Lido-January Project Updates

The January Board Meeting was held on January 21st. Below is information regarding recently approved projects and projects in progress!
- Lighting Project-American Power Solutions just finished the approved lighting upgrade project. Most of the common area lighting has now been replaced with LED. The annual energy savings is anticipated to be approximately $16,000!
- Storm Drains-All of the storm drains and sump pumps were recently inspected, repaired and cleaned, resolving most of the flooded issues in the garage areas.
- Pool Project-the Board approved the re-surfacing of the East pool and spa, as well as the West spa. This project will begin in late February!
- Pool Furniture-the Board approved a proposal to have all of the pool furniture in both pool areas repaired, which includes 53 chairs and barstools, 21 lounge chairs and 23 tables.
- Water Shut-Off Valves-the Board approved a proposal to have all of the stack water shut-off valves in the garage areas identified and labeled, so that a map can be produced and distributed to the membership. This information will be used to create a Water shut-off procedure/policy for The Lido.
- Garage Steam Cleaning-the Board approved a proposal to have both the East and West garages treated, steam cleaned and stains removed. Further details regarding scheduling will be provided soon!
- Survelliance System-Management was directed to obtain proposals to upgrade the existing survelliance system, as well as obtain cost information to install fob readers in the stairwells and at the garage and first floor elevators. The proposals will be reviewed and discussed at the February Board Meeting.
