Annual Meeting-The Annual meeting will be held on November 17, 2020, via Zoom. Meeting details have been posted in the bulletin boards. Meeting notices, including the link for the Zoom meeting and ballots will be mailed in October. There are two candidates running for two open positions. A minimum of 55 ballots must be received to achieve quorum and avoid having to re-schedule the meeting. PLEASE REMEMBER TO VOTE, EVERY VOTE COUNTS!

Fire Sprinkler Inspections-Allied Universal will be on the property to conduct the annual fire sprinkler inspections on October 8th and October 9th. The inspections will require access to every unit. The City and Fire Department have stated these inspections must be performed and must not be postponed due to the pandemic. Notices have been posted in the elevators, as well as e-mailed, providing the inspection times for all floors, in all buildings. If you are unable to have someone home at the time of the inspection, please make arrangements with the on-site office.

Garage Plumbing Project-The Board approved a proposal for ASAP Plumbing to replace many areas of rusted and corroded overhead pipes in both garages. This project will require many of the parking spaces to be left empty for one full day, in order for the repairs to be completed. The project has been scheduled for the week of October 12th and October 19th. The water will need to be turned off for multiple stacks each day of the project. Notices will be e-mailed, as well as posted, to those units affected by the project.

Tree Removals-Bemus Landscape will be on the property next week, September 29th and 30th to remove three dead palm trees, including the palm tree in the planter in front of the clubhouse, the fishtail palm in the planter in front of the on-site office in the 8275 courtyard and a Canary Island palm next to the entrance/exit of the East garage.

Garage Gates-House of Automation was on-site this past Monday to make repairs to the West garage gate and the majority of the day today, repairing the East garage gate. Both gates have now been repaired and are operational.

The next Board Meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 20th at 6:30PM via conference call. All homeowners are welcome to attend. The agenda will be posted and distributed prior to the meeting and will include the conference number and code.
