Due to recent theft in both garage areas and in an effort to eliminate these occurrences, there will be a change to the patrol post orders, effective April 23, 2021. Prosegur will have a guard on the property that will be stationed at the end of the driveway area between 11:00PM-6:00AM, Friday-Sunday. The guard will be documenting all vehicles entering the garage areas between these hours. The patrol guard will be approaching each vehicle entering the garages and will be asking for names and unit #’s. The guard will not be refusing access. However, we anticipate the presence of the guard and the “sign-in” process will deter future criminal activity. The new change may cause a slight inconvenience to those entering the garages at the late night hours, however the change is being implemented for the benefit and safety of all of the residents.

Also, The Lido will be included in the SDPD undercover operation, beginning May 1st. The SDPD will have undercover officers stationed in The Lido parking garages on a periodic basis, in an effort to catch criminals that contiue to vandalize vehicles in residential and commercial parking garages, all over San Diego.
